Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a politician, and a TV host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor for The Huffington Post, and the former co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have decided to stop the show in May 2021. This was in order for them to release Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball hosts alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her passion for politics due to the fact that she became a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able to observe the US presidential election results while living in Jordan. She observed how it affected people in that country and gained a greater appreciation of the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She co-hosted The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
