Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara is the proud winner of many awards which include an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress when she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Together with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). The following year, O'Hara and Candy began working on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984), where she drew the attention of critics for both her performance as a comedic actress and as a writer, securing an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was appointed to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert.
